Operation BBQ Relief is a cause near and dear to our hearts. It is what the true meaning of BBQ is for us. Operation BBQ Relief started as a group of competition cooks that wanted to help out their neighbors in the aftermath of an EF5 tornado that ripped through Joplin, MO. In just over four years since their founding, Operation BBQ Relief has served over 575,000 meals in 16 states after such disasters as the Joplin tornado, Hurricane Isaac, Super Storm Sandy, the Colorado wildfires, and more.
Holy Smokes has personally provided support for Operation BBQ Relief from the very beginning. We participated in the initial deployment in Joplin, MO, as well as in Pinson, AL, New Orleans, LA, and, most recently, in our own backyard in Adairsville, GA.
Operation BBQ Relief depends on donations from people like you to continue to provide hot meals to storm victims and first responders. To make a tax deductible donation, please visit the OBR Donation page. Also, please be aware that 100% of your donation goes directly towards disaster relief.
